Sentry siblings' family

  Star Gazer

Star Gazer is a member of the royal guard based in Canterlot. Flash Sentry was assigned to his crew when he joined the royal guards. They quickly became very good friends. They went to the bar together. They played poker together. They worked together. They were best buds, until Star Gazer was introduced to Silver Light, Flash Sentry's sister. He developped a crush on her. Flash wasn't very happy about it, but still, he helped his friend getting closer to his sister. Now they are a happy couple. They are very affectionate towards one an other which makes Flash Sentry very akward when he's in the same room as them. Star Gazer and Flash aren't that close anymore since they are now parts of different crews.

   Silver Light

Silver light is an intrepid mare. Always looking for a new adventure to go on. She's in charge of the guards trainees. She takes her role as an instructor very seriously and is told to be a very strict lady. Though, any of her friend will tell you that she is one of the sweetest mare they've ever met. Always here for anyone in need of help. It took her a lot of time to see Star Gazer as something else than a friend. It's not that she did not love him, it's just that she never considered anything else than them being friends. Sure he was being a sweet gentlecolt but she seemed to be oblivious to every of his attempts to show her how much he appreciated her. Flash Sentry saw how desperate the situation was and directly told Silver Light that his friend had feelings for her and that it was time for her to acknowledge that. Of course she was very flattered and little confused. She didn't know what to do. But in the end everything went smoothly. She realized that she shared the same feelings as Star Gazer, she just did not know what it was.

She really liked Twilight and was very sad when her brother and the princess divorced. She was also very mad at Flash because of his behavior and everything he has done to his wife and children. Silver was very close of her brother before all of this happended.

  Flash Sentry

Flash Sentry is a very notorious royal guard. He started his career in Canterlot but has now moved to the Crystal Empire. He met a mare one day, a mare that would change his life. Her name was Twilight Sparkle. He took interest in her. Everyday he hoped to see her in the Canterlot castle but she seemed to avoid him. Someday, he finally managed to talk to her and ask her out. A thing leading to an other they ended up together. For years Flash Sentry was deeply in love. At least he thought he was. Then Twilight annouced that she was pregnant. He realized that he was horrified. He did not want this baby. Still, he acted like everything was fine. Twilight completely fell for it, she had no idea what was happening. When Aydan was born he did not fell anything and he hated that. He did not love him and he did not love Twilight but he fell forced to stay with her because of that baby. Even though he did not love him it did not mean that he was allowed to abandon them. It was his fault, his mistakes. He did Aydan very poorly but he couldn't help it, he just couldn't bring himself to be good to him. He tried to be away from home as much as he could in order to avoid his wife and his son. He worked late, and did as many extra hours as he could. Then, when Twilight was became for the second time Flash didn't know what to do. He was trapped in a world he didn't want to be a part of. Strangely, at his second child birth he fell... something, he even cried a little. For some reason this little filly made his world a little brighter. He spent a lot of time with Arwen, he loved her, more than he'll ever love Aydan. Twilight and Flash often fought about the way he acted, and he always made her feel like it was her fault. He just did not want to acknowledge his behavior. A year or so after the birth of his daughter he met Amber Laurel during the Grand Galloping Gala. She was...stunning. He fell in love like never before, he couldn't stop thinking of her. They discussed a lot during this event and even more after. They sent each other letters, at least one per week. He successfully hid them for a couple of years until Twilight found them. When he came home that day... let's say it did not go well. Twilight was devastated. They decided to spend some time apart from each other... divorced.

Flash Sentry moved to the Crystal Empire to be with Amber Laurel. That's when he was assigned to an other crew than Star Gazer's. Since his whole family lived in Canterlot he was very far from them and did not really keep in touch. Than years after the divorce Amber Laurel got pregnant. It was a complete accident. But it does not matter, he could never replace Arwen...It would seem that history repeated.

Amber Laurel

Amber Laurel is in charge of the Crystal Empire royal gardens. She's not as blind as Twilight, she knows that Flash isn't satisfied with their lives but she still loves him, and she doesn't want her child to grown without a father. She is often described as funny and laid back by her friends. Even though he wasn't planne, her son is her pride, she'd sacrifice everything for him.

She isn't proud of all the trouble she caused to Twilight. She's genuily sorry.

  Sunny Spring

Sunny Spring is the son of Flash Sentry and Amber Laurel. His dad makes him very confused, he does not understand how someone can never smile, laugh or be happy. He often thinks it is because of him, because he's not good enough, not smart or good at sports... At least he's a total momma boy.

  Golden Star

Golden Star is the mother of both Silver Light and Flash Sentry. She was an important member of the Canterlot royal guards. Seems it runs in the family, her husband was also a guard. He was called Silver Fang, sadly he died few years ago.

She is really proud of Silver Light and Flash Sentry but he disapointed her a lot because of he behavior with Twilight and Aydan. Golden Star did not meet them many times but she still liked them. She met Amber Laurel and Sunny Spring once and had a lot of fun with them. She wish her son would be nicer and that he would agree to come in Canterlot more often...
